Quick Physical Therapy Tips to Lighten Your Day

Ok, here”s quite a few great tips to help you feel better each day!

  • Laughter Makes Your Nervous System Happy!
  • Dance to music with any little movement 3-5x / day as a break from the computer for 1-2 minutes.
  • Happy Feet: hold the back of your hamstring with your shin parallel to the floor and perform the capital letters with your foot / ankle to the stop the creaks and cracking when you stand on your feet first thing in the morning. It will prevent plantar fasciitis.
  • Avoid looking at your feet when you walk as it contributes to poor posture. It is best to still look at the ground but 10-15 feet in front of you.
  • Help your balance by standing in a door jam with two feet on the same Ce sont des jeux casino de chance. line forward with heel to toe contact. 1st, with eyes open; 2nd with head turning right to left; 3rd with eyes closed; and best of all with eyes closed turning your head right to left. The door jam will protect you from falling. Make sure that you switch your feet.

  • With a Right Bad Knee, walk up stairs one at a time using your Left Leg. Walking down stairs, lead with the Right Leg straight as the Left Leg is stronger.
  • Avoid bunions and plantar fasciitis by stretching your calf muscle 2x / day
  • Happy Feet are what connects us to the earth. Pick up marbles with your toes. Play with a towel on a slippery floor. Heels off of the towel and toes on the towel.  Grab the towel toward you with your toes attempting to pull the towel toward you.
  • Do you have repeat headaches while at the computer?  Change your bifocals or trifocals for computer specific glasses
